The challenge renovations pose is something we thrive on at Arête. When given the opportunity to add to the rich historical fabric of Arrowtown we couldn’t resist. Functional recladding and expansion of the existing home provides for a higher performing environment for the current owners. The design is in keeping with the traditional cottage form that is prevalent through the township.

The extension to the back of the property is where we have some fun. A contemporary take on the lean-to blends into the surrounding environment seamlessly. The Peek, popping its head above the existing home, provides intrigue, modernity and a formal relationship to the mountain ranges that provide a stunning backdrop.
