A Wellington cafe fit-out bringing a brand to life. Honest materials create a warm, functional environment celebrating oats and connecting people with simple, healthy comfort.
Our brief for The Oatery in Wellington was to translate founder Anna Campbell’s brand, rooted in oats, health, and sustainability, into a tangible cafe space. We achieved this using a simple, honest material palette of plywood, cork, concrete, and steel, reflecting the brand’s values. The design focuses on functionality, celebrating the product itself through display and texture, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. We looked to design a canvas that the business and customers could connect and grow over the simple goodness of breakfast.
